Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 2026 Sakura Matsuri - Japanese Street Festival!
We truly could not host the Sakura Matsuri without the time, energy, and dedication of our 600+ day-of volunteers.

   

Be a part of the magic behind Sakura Matsuri and help bring this beloved celebration to life.

In exchange for one four-hour shift at the festival, you'll receive:
 - Complimentary One-Day Admission to the Sakura Matsuri
 - Two drinks and one snack of your choice at the JASWDC Matsuri Market
- An official Sakura Matsuri Volunteer T-Shirt

Saturday, April 11, 2026: 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM
1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Sunday, April 12, 2026: 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM
2nd Shift: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
3rd Shift: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Volunteers must be at least 15 years old to volunteer without a guardian.
T-Shirt Size
All event volunteers will be issued a volunteer T-shirt on the day of the event to help identify them while working at the festival. Shifts will be distributed at on-site check-in at the start of your shift.
