Please review the 2026 Participant Information Packet which includes general details about the Sakura Matsuri, participation guidelines, timelines, and associated fees. Will you need electricity for your booth?
The cost for electricity is $475 for a 20 amp/2400-watt service. 
Will you use propane?
If you plan to use propane, there is an additional fee of $120 for a propane permit. Sakura Matsuri will apply for this permit on your behalf, as required by the Washington, DC Fire Marshal. The permit will be issued to you on Saturday morning after you have passed the Fire Marshal’s inspection.
Will you use open flame (i.e., charcoal?)
If you plan to use an open flame, there is an additional fee of $170 for an open-flame permit. Sakura Matsuri will apply for this permit on your behalf, as required by the Washington, DC Fire Marshal. The permit will be issued to you on Saturday morning after you have passed the Fire Marshal’s inspection.
Insurance Acknowledgment
JASWDC requires all Exhibitors and Vendors to carry insurance as described in the Participant Information Packet. If accepted, you will be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with your contract. Alternatively, you may choose to purchase a rider on JASWDC's insurance for $130.00.
